Excellent Location!

Location is very good. Very near to multiple restaurants (including the Michelin star ones), convenience stores and Wan Chai MTR station. Also a few minute walk to the HK Convention Centre. Beds are comfortable. Staff is accommodating and friendly.

Rooms are a little bit small but good for the price.

The hotel is just located next to MTR therefore it is very convenient to travel from one place to another. The room size is acceptable but we have to keep the curtains closed all the time as it was too near to the next apartment. There is no personal attention for travelers as the reception is located on the 3rd floor and the ground floor lift brings us straight up to our room daily.

The access door as well as the toilet door is not working well and the safe deposit box cannot be used throughout our stay. No doubt it was informed but we thought it'd be repaired the next day unfortunately it was not.

Two to three star accommodation which is good for its value in the Wan Chai area.

Location is best, few steps away from entrance of MTR. Very near food areas like McDo, 7-11, cafe de coral, etc. Circle K also just a few steps away. Room is fine for a couple, around 18sqmeters which is bigger than most of hotels in HKG. Internet is good and fast. TV channels have only few english channels, no options for netflix, you tube. Air conditioning is good but when we came, weather was very cold, we never used the ACU. Office is located at the 3rd level, very small receiving area but enough unless there are more than 4 guests coming in at the same time. You can leave your luggage at concierge if you are not ready to leave.

There are only two small elevators which can accommodate only 4 pax and/or 4 luggages. Amenities include only set of small shampoo, body gel and conditioner, good for one person only and toothbrush/paste set. Only two bath towels provided and sometimes old or worn out towels were given but clean. Dont expect any views, you are at the center of the city and you can only see the street or surrounding buildings. Information staff are sometimes not easy to talk with, probably because of language issues, but the younger lady is easier to talk with and very helpful.

Great location!

The location was great, right next to the metro station and close to the Tram and restaurants and bars. Very close to central too.

Even though this was a non smoking hotel, 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed someone was smoking in another room and the smell was strongly smelling in our rooms through the bathroom vents. It felt as if someone was smoking in our room. However there is no way to know who this could be so we couldn’t complain to the hotel, just something to keep in mind that not everyone follows the rules

Poor value

The location is super convenient.

The room is of decent size to be honest, however, it is good old lacking maintenance. I saw water stain in the bathroom and it would have taken a long time to develop. The carpet also looked very old (it might be properly cleaned but I cannot tell given the old look. The lift was also very slow. Given I paid for almost 200 aud per night, it is not good value at all. I switched to another hotel 2 minutes away next day for 260 aud per night and it was way better valued...

Very good hotel for a short visit of Hong Kong.

The location is great, not far from many attractions and close to metro station. The staff was always helpful, providing us with information, helping with taxi, looking after the luggage. Thanks.

The room was not very big, but that was expected.

Great location to MTR. Higher floor which helps, they clean your room daily.

They don’t provide much other than a kettle, tea bags and instant coffee which I could live with.

The room was nice and bed was comfortable, staff was also friendly and nice. The bathroom is not good.

The location is great, it is quiet and very accessible to the metro if you are in Wan Chai.

The bathroom is not good, the drain is very slow so it causes a bit of a flood. The toilet sink is very low, if I stand up it would be on my hips.

Location, staff excellent. Good for short stay.

Great location, next to the MTR. Staff are lovely.

Room facilities were a bit sparse, for example, no hand soap for the basin. These items were available to purchase, however. Very dated, basic and worn rooms and noise can carry through from the other rooms, it's possible to hear the water running etc in the rooms next door.

Youre paying for the location, NOT a 4-star hotel

The location is great, just stone's throw away from wan chai MTR exit C. It was quiet considering nearby clubs, and has many convenience stores, restos, money changers nearby. Taxi can also be hailed right outside the hotel.

1. Hotel did not respond to queries we made beforehand- no reply as to preferred room types, about which MTR exit was accessible with luggages, and available airport transfers (they dont have any). 2. One lady receptionist (morning) was very rude. We asked about airport transfers, and since her english was dismal, she ended up shouting at us for not understanding/making her repeat what she wanted to say. We saw her again in the lift, did not even greet any of the guests. (Tip, if you cant articulate well, you can always write it down instead of shouting). 3. Lifts are very narrow. Guests have to share with building occupants/guests of 1F and 2F. So if you have luggages or are in groups, you need to allot enough time waiting for the lift. 4. Theres practically no security at the front of the hotel. People can randomly go inside while guests are waiting to take the lift (lobby is in 3rd floor). 5. A bit pricey for the type of facilities offered. For around 100usd more, you can go to other hotel chains nearby who might have breakfast, airport transfers, AND warm reception.

Good location, indifferent staff

Great location near MTR.

On the third day of our stay, the running water from the tap was rusty dark-brown. We could not take a shower nor boil water for drinking. We went to the reception to inform the staff but a male staff responded in an indifferent manner. The problem lasted for the whole day and when we boil water for drinking the next day, there was still rust residue in the water. The male staff refused to apologise or make any compensation. We feel they didn’t take the customers seriously.

If you are looking for "no-frills", comfort and convenient, this is the place to stay.

The room is "no-frills", comfort and clean to rest and sleep. Location is excellent, and it is around 20meters to Wan Chai MTR station. It is 1 stop away from Admiralty MTR Station. Very Convenient, walking distance to Wan Chai market, Hennessy Road. The staff are very nice

Its a bit old, or not "fashionable" as the newer hotels, but can say it is made up by the location and the wonderful staff.

Convenient location but rooms need renovation

1. Location is super convenient. Right next to exit C of Wanchai MTR station 2. Staff are quite friendly, helpful. I asked them for computer help etc, they were quite willing. 3. The cleaning personnel are also quite professional and friendly. 4. Room & toilet size is decent for HK

The rooms need a renovation or upgrade. The towels provided were torn. There is no breakfast in hotel (which is ok considering there are many options nearby)

Brilliant quiet hotel near MTR and 10 minutes walk from the harbour front and ferries to TST.

This hotel is in an excellent quiet-ish location two doors down from the MTR, can definitely recommend. The room was small but fine for sleeping in. Staff was attentive, friendly and quick to help.

Nothing really, apart from the size of the room, but overall it met our expectations.
